Facial Hair Contest!

So Oren's work proposed a facial hair contest a few weeks ago - the rules and potential awards of which are completely nebulous. Coworkers have been working at growing wispy little goatees, scrubby mustaches...

Oren, recognizing he has a good 4-6 year lead on any of his colleagues, decided he needed to do something a little more... special.

Tri Cities Experience

Briefly: a few weekends we drove to the Tri Cities in Eastern Washington for a benefit for SIGN. The Tri Cities are three and a half hours away and on the way back we were impressed by the windmills gracing the gorge most of the way. They were not a part of the landscape when we first drove out here from Boston.

























In other news, let the house hunting begin! Hooray!

Wedding Day

Thank you to all our friends and especially family for making the wedding possible! We had the best time of our life. Thank you all for your support, your long distance travel, and for joining in the fun.

Wedding Highlights (with credit to our friend Caitlin for coming up with this idea):
- the hectic chaos that was the week before
- the excellent picnic at the Stephensons, complete with the smooth singer performing live Jack Johnson songs
- the threat of rain -- and the rain itself, for making us so grateful when it let up for the photo taking
- the Mogielnicki (a la Seuss) poem letting Oren know what he's getting in to
